About Lippan Art:
The beautiful Mud and Mirror art is an integral part of the rural Kutch lifestyle in Gujarat. Traditionally, this artwork is done on the inner walls of the circular houses known as bhunga, which can be found in the Kutch desert region. These murals feature a variety of patterns and designs with shiny mirrors and vibrant colours.
In this workshop, the participants will learn the art of Lippan from start to finish. You will be guided step-by-step and will take home a beautiful mirror work in the end. You'll use mould-it to outline shapes and understand how to space out your design. You'll even understand how to go home and make your own patterns. This workshop will help you visualize structures and execute them.
All Materials will be provided (MDF Board, Fevicryl Mouldit, mirrors, Fevicol, Acrylic paint, Paintbrush)

• How to draw and make designs
• How to do lippan work using clay
• How to fill colours in the artwork.

Who is teaching?
Sangeetha Mohan is an art trainer who loves doing different art forms like Lippan Art, Mandala Art, and Calligraphy. She has taken several art workshops and is keen to help you unleash your creativity.
