Explore this beautiful art and take home a functional Lippan artwork frame.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>About Lippan Art:</strong></p><p>The beautiful Mud and Mirror art is an integral part of the rural Kutch lifestyle in Gujarat. Traditionally, this artwork is done on the inner walls of the circular houses known as bhunga, which can be found in the Kutch desert region. These murals feature a variety of patterns and designs with shiny mirrors and vibrant colours.</p><p><br></p><p>In this workshop, the participants will learn the art of Lippan from start to finish. You will be guided step-by-step and will take home a beautiful mirror work in the end. You'll use mould-it to outline shapes and understand how to space out your design. You'll even understand how to go home and make your own patterns. This workshop will help you visualize structures and execute them.</p><p><br></p><p>All Materials will be provided (MDF Board, Fevicryl Mouldit, mirrors, Fevicol, Acrylic paint, Paintbrush)</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Things you learn:</strong></p><p>• History and Introduction of the Lippan Art</p><p>• How to draw and make designs</p><p>• How to do lippan work using clay</p><p>• How to fill colours in the artwork.</p><p>• Mirror composition & pasting</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Who is teaching?</strong></p><p>Sangeetha Mohan is an art trainer who loves doing different art forms like Lippan Art, Mandala Art, and Calligraphy. We currently don’t have any online versions</li><li><strong>Are materials provided?</strong> - Yes, all supplies required for the workshop will be provided. Do just bring yourself.</li><li><strong>Who can participate? </strong>Any beginners from the age of 12 to adults can join.</li><li><strong>Do I get to take home what I make?</strong> Yea, absolutely.</li><li><strong>If I miss the class can I use it for something else? </strong>NO.<strong> </strong>We sell limited tickets. So please understand that we cannot refund, cancel, or transfer your ticket to another workshop. You can at best ask a friend to attend in your place. We cannot and will not offer any solutions for any reason you do not come for the workshop.
