An amazing piece that you can behold and take home with inlays done with pressed flowers, leaves and more. Work with Stoneware (ceramic clay) and we will press flowers and create beautiful impressions. We will then wait for the bone dry stage to use glazes and colour our plates.</p><p><br></p><p>Pottery is an exciting art form that doesn't require any artistic talent or experience. Just feel your hands move on clay, work oon your hand-building skills and have your creation fired so you can to collect 3 weeks later.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>**What will you learn?**</strong></p><p>- Introduction to pottery and clay preparation.</p><p>- What is pottery, what are the different types of clay and the process of how a lump of clay is transformed to art.</p><p>- Learn about ceramics, what glazing is, what is an underglaze in theory</p><p>- The knowledge of how it is fired and made into a final product. You'll focus on learning to create the perfect plate.</p><p>- Use leaves and flowers to get beautiful textures and use underglaze to hand paint your final pieces. We will then fire and apply a clear glaze making it a functional piece for you to use. </p><p>- Introduction to hand-building techniques like pinching and slab work.</p><p><br></p><p>All tools, materials, and clay will be provided for you during the workshop. </p><p><br></p><p>The Final ceramic piece you make will be glazed and given to you (only after 1 month as it has to dry and go through 2 firing sessions).</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Who will be teaching?</strong></p><p>You will be learning from Nidhi (@studio_pottery_paradise) an experienced teacher who has taught numerous students and taken multiple workshops for adults and for kids. We currently don’t have any online versions.</li><li><strong>Are materials provided?</strong> Yes, all supplies required for the workshop will be provided. So just bring yourself and a water bottle.</li><li><strong>Who can participate? </strong>Any beginners from the age of 13 to adults can join.</li><li><strong>Do I get to take home what I make?</strong> Yea, absolutely.</li><li><strong>If I miss the class can I use it for something else? </strong>NO.<strong> </strong>We sell limited tickets.
