Kids, Let's learn carpentry 101!
The workshop’s objective is to encourage kids to work with their own hands and bring home what they make. In the 3-hour duration, the kids will be making a bird feeder from scratch. They will learn to think visually, draw and measure.
They will also learn the use of basic carpentry tools like drill machines, manual saws and screw drives. These are safe to use and we will be guiding them throughout the process. Having a basic skillset to build and fix things is the best gift one can benefit from, their whole life. Kids are also encouraged to learn from their mistakes by finding solutions. Skills and technicality will be developed with practice.
